Types of Care
Relief Care
When a new patient comes to our clinic, their primary goal is to obtain relief for their symptoms or other health problems. In the beginning, you will likely need to visit our clinic two or three times a week. This will allow for concentrated treatments to reduce or eliminate your symptoms as soon as possible. This phase of chiropractic care is considered the Relief Care phase. The goal of Relief Care is ONLY symptom relief. The Relief Care treatment program is only a short term “fix” of your alignment problem. Many patients who do not continue into the Corrective Care program (discussed below) will allow their misalignments to return causing a further deterioration of their condition and eventually the return of their symptoms.

Corrective Care
Most patients who take their health seriously and have a long-term health goal of staying as active as possible in their later years choose Corrective Care. The emphasis in this phase of care is complete rehabilitation of the underlying cause of the problem. The goal of the Corrective Care program is to correct and restore the alignment of the spine, posture, and extremities to as near normal as possible. The Corrective Care treatment program is targeted as a long-term “fix” of your alignment problem. This is a very important step needed to restore, heal, and prevent symptoms from recurring. Specific strengthening, stretching and/or stabilization exercises will be performed to accelerate the correction and healing process. Exercises will be performed in our clinic and in the comfort of your own home. The Corrective Care phase is very similar to orthodontic bracing of bad teeth. Similar to realigning teeth, realigning the spine is a slow and gradual process. This phase of care could take a few months or more depending on the seriousness of your condition.
Wellness Care
Most patients who complete the Corrective Care program feel better and function better than ever. Wellness Care ensures that this healthy feeling will never fade away. A program including regular adjustments, exercise, and a healthy food plan will help ensure optimal health of your musculoskeletal system and the rest of your body. Wellness Care will give you the benefit of living life to the fullest now and in your later years.
